I work primarily as a social worker, in which I support parents and their children, provide them with resources, and help them be successful in any way that they may need. When working with new families, we start by asking three basic questions: - What is working well? What are you currently worried about? What needs to change? I approach counseling in very much the same way.
My primary counseling style is Solution Focused Therapy, in which we focus on the present and what can be done in the near future to address the problem at hand. Whether this is your first experience with counseling or you’ve gone through counseling before, I am here to work with you, support you, and help you address your goals and needs as much as I can.
