I work in partnership with folks that are wanting to make change and sometimes need the support, skills, and empowerment to work towards their goals for wellness. I enjoy using easy approaches, developing trusting relationships, and breaking down the challenges that may feel overwhelming into smaller achievable goals. I have had the privilege to work with a vast population of people and multiple age ranges, but find myself gravitating most to young to middle age adults.
My strength-based perspective is focused on client centered approaches, the therapeutic relationship, and usable skills and supports. The modalities that I tend to use the most are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I offer late afternoon and early evening hours for the convenience of working around difficult schedules and real-life challenges. I look forward to starting our journey to wellness together.
