I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) who uses both talk & play therapy. My office is located in Seattle's Fremont Neighborhood. In therapy, your life takes priority; first and foremost, I am here to be with & listen to you. I am trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and welcome persons of all genders, sexual orientations, and systemic lifestyles. I treat all clients with unconditional positive regard. I specialize in Sandtray Therapy - which uses symbolic expression for accessing our subconsious. I use Sandtray with adult couples, individuals, & children/adolesents (ages 9+) experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, & need to process trauma. I regularly integrate Person-Centered, Narrative, & Humanistic-Therapy into all Talk & Sandtray Therapy sessions.
For younger kids, I use Family Play Therapy (a short-term approach where parents learn play therapist skills to use at home). I do individual work with younger children on a case-by case bases using non-directive Child-Centerd Play Therapy (CCPT). You can find more information about the ways I work on my website.
