Hello, my name is Stephen. Recognizing how important, yet difficult, it can be to cultivate and work through meaningful relationships in our lives, my goal is to help others experience relationally enriching lives. Thinking about how important my relationships are to my own life and well-being, I can’t help but feel for those who are really struggling through the most important relationships in theirs. I’m reminded especially of those clients I've worked with who've felt alone and unloved due to the lack of connection in their own lives.
Among others, my specialties include EFT, CBT, and family systems. This means that our work together will be an integrated one that explores secure attachment, trauma, and patterns of thinking and behaving. While integrative, our work will also be a collaborative one which embraces your being the experts and authors of you and your stories.
The son of Asian immigrant parents, my story is a multicultural one that embraces the diversity that makes each person’s journey uniquely different and interesting. Regardless of your situation, you can expect to feel respected and special because at the heart of my worldview is the belief that every person is intrinsically valuable and even sacred.
