It has been my privilege helping people rapidly heal from trauma both past and present incorporating God's guidance with proven psychological techniques-i.e., EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Imago Therapy. I like it when I hear someone say that they can never get over some hurt in their life and then be able, with God's help, to get them past it to a place of peace with what happen. In addition I work with ADHD ( adult & adolescent ), addictions, ACOA, couple counseling, marital problems, divorce recovery , anxiety, Depression, unresolved grief issues, interventions, PTSD, DID, panic attacks....
I started working in the counseling field in 1988 as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have an extensive understanding of many different 12 Step groups. With further advance training and education BA, MSW, I have been licensed as a License Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, since 2000.
I believe that a person's faith is an important resource in their recovery, and I am dedicated to wisely integrating the Christian faith with professional psychological therapies. I have a wide range of recovery tools that I have used personally and can pass along to my clients.
