My name is Stephen Brown, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Northeast Ohio and seeing clients throughout the state via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults specializing in stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients find positive solutions to start feeling better. I have found that my approach is effective for teens and adults struggling with the challenges and stressors of life, which take the forms of depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma.
I worked to help my clients build the skills to navigate the challenges of life, to feel better about themselves, and to develop a more positive outlook. My communication style is calm, soft-spoken, and reassuring. I help clients to feel relaxed and comfortable talking to me and to listen without judgment.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and based on each client's unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients develop skills to change their thinking in order to promote improved cognitive functioning.
