I’m a psychological scientist and clinical counselor. I enjoy working with clients, especially men, on life changes. Those changes can include losing weight, abstinence from drinking or pornography as well as communication in a marriage. I also enjoy working with clients to overcome anxiety and distorted ways of thinking that breed negative self talk and self criticism. Located in Cincinnati OH, I work with Lifeway Counseling Centers, a faith based practice that welcome clients of any or no religious beliefs. I see clients in my Blue Ash, OH office, as well as across the state of Ohio via video based telehealth sessions.
In my practice, I use mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to address depression anxiety, mood disorders, addictions, binge eating and impulsivity, as well as the stress of life challenges. I also incorporate faith and spirituality in counseling at the client’s request.
