Hello, Welcome in! If you have found my page then you have already taken the first step to becoming a mentally happier and healthier you, so congratulations! I am proud of you for taking the first step, or thousandth step on your mental health journey! Are you struggling with anxiety or depression? Are past traumatic events preventing or stagnating emotional growth? Are you neurodivergent and struggling with a world that just doesn't quite communicate like you do or understand you? The most important thing to remember is that YOU have the power to enact positive change in your life. The mystery lies in how to enact that change.
To start, we will collaboratively build a space where you feel heard, where you feel safe, and where you feel valued. The best way to do that is to have open and honest communication on both sides. This will allow, you and I to take a look at what is happening now and explore how that is affected by the world around us, and your past experiences.
I like to use an eclectic array of counseling techniques. I use the intersectionality of each client's lived Identities to decide on which techniques I use. I believe that all lived identities are valid. All of my sessions are designed to be Identity affirming spaces. And I will advocate for you and your needs in and outside session.
