I have been an individual and family/couples therapist for more than 25 years - It is reassuring to see all the changes that have developed over time. There are so many options for people including brief consultations as well as video sessions. I think people today are more comfortable creating good smart relationships with therapists and are seeking out a good fit. The internet helps with this. For me, a good fit would be someone who is ready for work, has an open mind, and is curious about themselves and interested in making change. I am a clinician who is direct and fairly straIght forward as well as supportive and kind.
I provide supportive and structured therapy in a personal and confidential environment. I have been fortunate enough to have received a good deal of excellent training over the years and I am happy to answer questions about particular modalities that may be useful for one person or another. (CBT, DBT, IFS and IBCT are examples)
