Recent years have taken a toll on individual mental health as well as relationships. Connection and attachment have become a struggle as we all try to discover this new "normal" we find ourselves in. Stress is a common companion, values are being tested, and many are on a journey for increased self-awareness. My approach is to help you find a sense of security, safety, and direction through a collaborative and strengths based approach. I use a combination of approaches to ensure that I am meeting clients where they are without judgment.
Among the approaches I use most often are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Person Centered therapy. As an affirming and inclusive counselor, this integration affords me the ability to help clients identify their values as individuals and in their relationships in order to find ways to align with those values.
