However, with over 12 years of therapist experience, I have seen that therapy REALLY works! I have also noticed that underneath a lot of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relationship concerns is trauma. I specialize in working with trauma using EMDR. I help people move from a life of pain to one where they experience thriving.
I treat clients in Oregon, Missouri, Colorado and Michigan. I work with adults and couples on issues related to self-esteem, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, grief, body image and eating disorders, identity development (including multicultural and LGBTQIA), spirituality, and trauma. I enjoy facilitating couples counseling.
I believe in the integration between mind, body, and spirit. I am an EMDR Therapist and have witnessed amazing transformations. I believe that therapy is relational; for this reason, I base my therapy on Interpersonal Neurobiology and Interpersonal Process Therapy. In addition, I utilize CBT and exposure therapy to treat OCD.
