As a trauma-informed therapist, my focus is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable to process your pain. Whatever is going on or has happened, I'm here to help you make sense of it. We all have stories to tell. We all want to be heard. In order to heal and move on, we need compassion and understanding. I'm here to listen. I'm here to validate. I'm here to explore ways to improve your quality of life. You can learn from your past and you can live freely in your present. Trauma impacts the way we think and the way we react. I want to help you identify your triggers, and learn how to respond to them, rather than react.
I offer therapeutic techniques to improve your mindfulness, increase your tolerance and help you regulate your emotional responses. My approach is eclectic, client-centered and educational. It is important for me that we work as a team. With a collaborative approach, we can improve your relationship with yourself and others.
The first step is difficult, especially when dealing with the past. It is said to leave the past in the past. But truth be told, the past can affect the present. You deserve to live a life that isn't dictated by your past. Our lives are stories to be told. Let's write a new chapter together. Appointments available today. Click on my website to schedule.
