Stephanie Ross is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2010. Stephanie is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a comprehensive program for the treatment of disturbing experiences that underlie trauma and is an accepted treatment for PTSD. EMDR is also useful for issues that cause activation and anxiety.
She has extensive experience in treating addiction issues using Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She believes recovery is possible for both addictions and mental health issues. These practices help center the mind and body to help calm and better focus on therapy and coping with daily life stressors.
