As a therapist, I know how important it is to create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I also know that taking that first step to getting help can be intimidating. I offer a nonjudgemental and empathetic approach to therapy to help people discover the strength they have within. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health struggles, cultures, LGBTQ+ identified individuals, and ages. I help people set small, attainable goals to build confidence and make changes that get one closer to their idea of peace and happiness.
I have experience working with symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder and more. I use principles from specifically from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to treat my clients. I also use mindfulness strategies like deep breathing and yoga for those interested.
