Welcome to A Better Me Wellness! I'm Stephanie and it would be a privilege to walk with you on your healing journey. I will believe in your resilience and inner capacity to grow and heal even if or when you feel or think otherwise. We will walk through whatever the valley of issues are, identify persistent problems and patterns, help you self-confront the way things are, and determine a course of action that will allow you to move forward. My desire is to see you move upwards, out of the valley and towards the summit; where the best in you can emerge. It may seem tough in the beginning, but overtime your functioning can get better.
I use differentiation-based therapy to help clients grow and mature in your sense of self, in the face of feeling anxiety & pressure from others; I use somatic therapy with clients to process challenging thoughts & emotions produced by the nervous system. Clients learn the power of self-confrontation, see the root of problems & make choices to improve self.
Please know you don't have to weather the valley alone. There is always hope and a way to move forward. Hurt cannot be healed until it's heard, and you don't have to remain stuck or feel isolated.
