I strive to provide a safe atmosphere that honors and validates all walks of life. I particularly enjoy working with young adults, LGBTQ+ individuals & couples, and early-career helping professionals (e.g. mental health or medical professionals, community or non-profit workers, teachers, ministry leaders, etc.).
Sessions with me will often have a trauma- and attachment-informed perspective. I aim to provide quality, trauma-informed care for my clients to process issues from the past and help them feel freer in the present. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and have practiced EMDR therapy since 2017. I have also finished Level 1 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
Feeling a sense of connection and trust with your therapist is one of the most important parts of therapy and we want to make sure it feels like a good fit. During your initial sessions with me, I take time to get to know you, build rapport, and assess your needs. I then collaborate with you on what goals you want to focus on in counseling.
