Stephanie’s approach to counseling is client-centered and strengths-based. She integrates theories such as Interpersonal Neurobiology, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and attachment science, and utilizes a feminist and social justice-focused lens. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a play therapist, a relationship therapist, and a Certified Autism Clinical Specialist.
Stephanie works with adults, couples, and young children, provides parent coaching, relationship counseling, and peri-natal counseling. Her specialities include working with Autistic youth and adults (including late-realized), play therapy with ages 3-10 & parent support, and adults with parents with personality disorders,
Stephanie believes that each individual’s struggle is laced with societal influences that can can cause or exacerbate personal trauma. Her practice is neurodivergent-affirming and queer-affirming and she is excited to work with folx from those communities.
