I have worked in the human services field for over 14 years. I have experience working in a community mental health clinic, providing assessment/psychiatric evaluation in the ER & ICU, providing group counseling to individuals with PTSD and DID, and providing counseling to adolescents, adults, and couples. My experience includes working in school settings with at-risk youth struggling with behavioral issues and mental health diagnoses. I specialize in providing care for those with sexual abuse histories, sexual assault, domestic violence, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, self harm and/or suicidal ideation.
I am trained in working in crisis situations, and conducting safety and risk assessment. I specialize in working with individuals in law enforcement and first responders. I am EMDR trained. My approach to counseling is eclectic, integrative, person-centered, and tailored to each client’s needs.
