While my approach is empathetic, believing that connection is the most powerful tool, I also use evidence-based practices, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focusing on distress tolerance and emotional regulation to help develop skills and change negative thought patterns.
Together, we will identify what's not working in your life and explore how you want things to be different. By setting specific goals, we can be intentional in therapy, focusing on your desired outcomes recognizing that small steps lead to big changes. Sessions are directive and goal-oriented, ensuring that you walk away with something valuable each time.
