I provide therapy for children, families and individual adults. My speciality is working with childhood issues that include learning challenges, ADD/ADHD, Autism, conduct disorders, emotional disturbances, trauma, and a host of other behavioral and development challenges. I also have experience working with adults on such issues as grief, addiction, anxiety, depression, parenting support as well as with the LGBT community.
My post graduate training and employment has been working extensively with severely emotionally challenged youth and their families. I conduct groups for children and adolescents focusing on social skills and critical teen issues.
I encourage working closely with family members. I believe that the issues and problems that the client presents can reflect the dynamics of the family system and each family members role. Depending on the client and the issue, I am able to design a treatment plan using a wide range of skills and interventions.
I believe the client leads the way and it is my job to help guide and assist them in reaching their full potential. Taking the step to get help takes courage but puts you on a path to creating the life you desire.
