My unique training in both behavioral and somatic therapies allows me to craft a treatment plan with your input that best fits your needs. I believe in utilizing the wisdom of the body , the rich information present in emotions, an examination of how you show up in the world behaviorally, and the way your mind has learned to protect you in order to guide you toward resiliency and improved coping with daily life. You will learn coping skills through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and somatic resourcing. We talk and problem solve when needed and somatically process when indicated.
With knowledge steeped in compassion, mindfulness, the body and the nervous system, we'll dive right in the examine the function of the behaviors that are keeping you in old patters. You'll learn mind-body strategies that will shift the way you navigate daily stressors and develop greater mindfulness in your relationship with both yourself and others.
