I specialize in working with clients who may have experienced trauma and those that are experiencing relational struggles - including codependency as well as self-esteem and self-worth issues. Are you struggling to find a healthy relationship? Do you tend to lose your sense of self when you enter into relationships? Or perhaps you are struggling to connect with others or to let your guard down? I also enjoy working with clients who are recovering from childhood trauma, narcissistic abuse, emotional abuse, and CPTSD. There is always a way back to your authentic self no matter how far away you may feel you have strayed.
My approach is informed by Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to show up exactly as they are. I am a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC 16493) supervised by Dr. Thomas Lucking (LMFT 97696) and Yvonne O'Brien (LMFT 113881).
Reaching out to inquire about therapy is a courageous step. I strongly believe that clients make sense given the context of what they have been through and that we all have innate wisdom and a capacity towards healing - sometimes we just need some guidance and to feel less alone. It is my honor to aid clients in their therapeutic work and healing journey.
