Stephanie I. Thomopoulos is President and Founder of GeriatriCare® Management, Inc., a private care management firm founded in 1995 that provides individualized services to people of all ages. Although we specialize in Geriatrics, we also provide mental health services, disease management, legal assistance (Guardianship/Conservatorship, family disputes), pre-disability Care Planning, and Care Management to people of all ages. I have extensive knowledge of community resources and housing options in the Washington DC area. Additional Services include the Friendly Visitor Program, Plan Now/Care Later and Pet Therapy.
As a Professional Care Manager, I have insight into issues surrounding long-distance caregiving, housing options, home safety concerns, including adaptations, in-home services, and the emotional aspects of aging. We offer counseling and consultation services regarding situational problems or crises.
After a complimentary phone consultation, I will be able to better assess the overall situation and discuss the plan of action. The initial consultation is done in the client's home where a thorough assessment can be completed to build a Plan of Care. I am client focused and often incorporate a team approach.
