I am currently a Supervisee in Social Work working towards obtaining my LCSW. My undergraduate degree is from George Mason University and I obtained my master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have been in the clinical field for about three years and am currently supervised by the company founder, Megan Adair Casteel, LCSW. I have experience with a variety of demographics and issues.
In my practice, I will focus on providing support to my clients utilizing evidence-based and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques. Through active listening I will work towards empowering you to tackle cognitive distortions, develop positive behavior practices, and manage emotions. I have some experience working with clients dealing with grief.
