Hello there! My name is Stephanie Gerard, LMHC, NCC, CCTP, MCAP, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in trauma, self-esteem building, healthy boundaries, and more. My goal is to work alongside you as you journey toward healing and happiness. I have served a wide and diverse client base with various treatment concerns to include anxiety, depression/mood disorders, traumatic experiences, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, parenting challenges, and life coaching. My counseling style is non-judgmental and supportive. Everyone has intrinsic value and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
I strive to support each client in the pursuit of their identified goals and to empower them to live the life they envision for themselves. Each individual I work with is a unique person with unique needs.
I use a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness practices, and Somatic experiencing exercises to help each client reach their goals.
