I am a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker Nationally Certified in the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) Model. Apollo is my sidekick, has been certified by Dog Training Elite as a Certified Therapy Dog, and joins in on sessions. I have extensive training and experience working with the youth and adolescent populations, both as a mental health provider and as a high school sports coach, with a focus providing mood disorder and trauma focused treatment. I also work with young adults who have experienced childhood traumas and or are experiencing a time of personal transition with associated symptoms.
My passions lie in working with those who have experienced trauma and the high performing adolescent population whether that include academia, sports, or other skills. I pride myself on being able to quickly build rapport and establish a safe space for my clients to process their thoughts while untangling and appropriately identifying heavier feelings.
