Aloha! My name is Dr. Stefanie Strong and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have spent my career working to help people heal from trauma, addiction, abuse, neglect, and a variety familial issues. I received my Masters of Science in Behavioral Science from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma in 2010. I completed my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University in San Diego, California in 2018. I am currently an LMFT in Hawaii and Utah.
I have worked with a variety of clients in both outpatient settings and intensive long-term residential treatment settings. I have worked with adults and adolescents suffering with trauma, addictions of multiple types, couple and family issues, and diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and struggles with anger.
My practice of therapy has long been a diverse approach based on client need. I am skilled in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Family Dynamics, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Trauma Focused CBT.
