I am a firm believer in post-traumatic growth and know from personal experience that with therapy, disciplined effort and self-compassion, post-traumatic growth is possible.
My areas of focus are trauma, anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, and adult children of alcoholics and addicts. I focus on gender issues with teens and young adults.
I focus on mindfulness awareness and approach each client's journey with honesty, compassion and a pro-active attitude. I offer a direct, down to earth approach to therapy with a lot of humor thrown in. I use evidence based practices for the development of reliable and proven skills to effectively cope with the difficult times in life.
