Hello, welcome to my page; I am the founder of StayWell Counseling. I offer tele-therapy services for both adolescents and adults. The most commonly reported concern I treat is anxiety. I approach both the mind and body when in treatment for anxiety. Learning about your behaviors/reactions and how to rationalize distorted beliefs are vital (cognitive approach), but this is just as important as learning to regulate your nervous system (body approach). Sometimes our fight or flight response is effecting our ability to pump the breaks and re-evaluate our reactions.
I will work with you to recognize irrational thoughts/beliefs, proactively re shape your cognitive habits, and work through different tools that are proven to help you regulate your nervous system. I also work with clients dealing with depression, life changes, relationship conflict, ADHD, boundary setting, and burn out. All which co-exist with anxiety.
