Everyone of us has a story that is filled with beauty and hurt. How do we hold the hope and pain of our own lives? How do we navigate the distress, desire, ambivalence that lives in us and in our relationships? How can we lead our anxiety rather than it leading us? How can we engage emotions in ways that bring healing and foster connection with self and others? It's my desire to join clients in understanding their own story - past, present, and future - to identify the places in which hope has been shattered, how it has been sought, and consider the way of restoration.
I would love to help you gain a quality of awareness in your life that enables you to make sense of your own experiences, relationships, and life patterns in order to move toward a place of wholeness. I work from an attachment based, developmentally informed, and trauma aware lens. Where indicated I use EMDR as a way to reprocess trauma.
