I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed School Counselor specializing in children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have experience working with people with many different needs, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and the unique needs of the LBGTQ community. I am trained in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Yoga-CBT, and have earned my certification as a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional
I offer individual therapy and group counseling to children, teens, and families in a person-centered, trauma informed environment. Using a holistic approach with evidenced based counseling treatments and techniques, I can help your child or teen build skills to manage their emotions, develop friendships, and improve their ability to problem solve.
Common themes addressed in counseling include trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and social skills training. Working together, we will develop a treatment plan to address the individual needs of your child. I have extensive training in trauma informed care, including EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Yoga-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Y-CBT) is a 6-week group treatment model led by a Licensed Mental Health Clinician specifically trained in Y-CBT, which blends the effective techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with yogic exercises, breathing, and teachings. ? Seated poses are used in combination with the mind-body connection taught in the traditions of Yoga to simultaneously calms the anxiety of the mind and eases stress in the body. ? Y-CBT is a research based psychological treatment that combines the scientifically documented effects of yoga with cognitive behavioral therapy.
