As a queer and non-binary identifying person, I have both lived experience with LGBTQIA+ issues, and experience with LGBTQIA+ clients. I bring extensive experience in Crisis Intervention, Addiction, Co-occurring Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, and Suicidal Ideation. I specialize in working with people who have trauma histories, specifically Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Starting from a Person Centered model, I work with each client to maximize their unique strengths to overcome life’s challenges. I primarily use trauma-informed interventions and CBT to help clients reframe unhelpful thinking and replace unhealthy behaviors. I also help them find the skills needed to build and keep meaningful connections and relationships.
