Hello! My name is Stacie Gilmore, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My approach of therapy is to utilize positive therapy techniques to focus on positive things to help clients grow. My clients that I am most comfortable supporting are children, youth, teens, and adults. I really enjoy getting to know you as a person first, before diving into treatment right off the bat. It allows you to gage your comfort level with me to see if I am a good fit for you! I have always had a passion for wanting to help people and knew since I was a kid.
This was not an easy path for me to come to, but I truly enjoy helping people work through/problem solve difficult situations together. It can be really tough and scary to work through difficult feelings and situations where you feel like you are "on your own" where you feel like others do not understand how you feel or your perspective.
I have lots of experience working with children and their families. I also support kids in an elementary school setting full time.
