I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works collaboratively with clients, empowering individuals and families to gain a higher quality of life by finding their own path and re-establishing their sense of purpose. I bring 12 years of therapeutic experience to clients expressing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, anger management issues and loss of identity concerns. Through my practice, I help individuals, couples and reduce conflict, improve communication, identify and express their feelings and improve their quality of life.
I have specialized experience at the Healing Center in Milwaukee providing comprehensive clinical treatment to survivors of sexual assault and other complex trauma and I have focused my continuing education on studying trauma and utilizing trauma processing models in therapy.
My approach is gentle, empathic, and respectful, guided by the belief that healing comes from within. I utilize different therapeutic modalities that are client-centered and I combine traditional talk therapy with processing and resource building while incorporating mindfulness techniques to create a tailored therapeutic environment for each of my clients.
