I decided to go into counseling when I was 12-years old after reading, “Man’s Search for Meaning,” by Viktor Frankl, because of the message of hope. I believe that most people are searching for meaning in their lives, and I would like to be the catalyst that creates the change by illuminating the light that shines from inside once a person finds their path. I believe that we are all diverse, with different thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and I will treat you with the respect, compassion, and dignity that you deserve.
Prior to attaining my education as a professional counselor, I served in the US Army for 6 years working in the field of satellite and radio communications, and I was a Deputy in Oregon for 7 years. I have a passion for and experience in treating veterans and law enforcement.
I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and life experience which many of my clients appreciate and find helpful in their treatment. I enjoy working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues.
