Learn how to get your needs met with others while maintaining self respect and positive relationships with others. This module creates awareness of the factors that increase positive communication.

This group meets on Zoom. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a proactive, problem solving approach that teaches the skills needed to control intense emotions, improve relationships, manage distress and reduce self destructive behavior. There are 4 modules of DBT. This group is the The Distress Tolerance Module. Learn ways to change patterns of responding to difficult situations in ways that are destructive and make things worse. In this module you will learn both "crisis survival" skills, which focus on responding to short term negative situations AND "acceptance" based skills, which teach strategies to help participants cope better with long term painful situations.

This group is on Zoom and meets once a week. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a proactive, problem solving approach that teaches the skills needed to control intense emotions, improve relationships, manage distress and reduce self destructive behavior. There are 4 modules of DBT. This module is EMOTION REGULATION. There is HOPE. You can live a happier life. Emotion Regulation teaches participants to be able to understand their emotions, change or reduce unwanted emotions and reduce their emotional vulnerability.
