Taking the first step to get help takes courage. It means being willing to be vulnerable and talk about personal things and experience uncomfortable feelings. We will work at your pace in a supportive, nonjudgmental and safe place to reach the counseling outcome you desire. My clients come to therapy with many life stressors and events that have led to such things as depression, anxiety and trauma. They want to feel better and regain control over their life. Approaching therapy as a collaborative working relationship helps my clients achieve their individual treatment goals.
I use different approaches individualized to you and your goals for therapy. They include client centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care as well as others. We will work together to identify the things that get in your way of living a healthy, happy and peaceful life and find ways to challenge them.
It can be difficult and overwhelming to find the right therapist. I am here to make it as easy as possible and that's why I offer a free 15 minute telehealth session so we can meet. Groups
Women's Support Group
A group to empower, support and help women cope with life stressors, such as divorce, parenting, relationships, career and life transitions. As the group facilitator, I will facilitate a process for group members to talk about navigating such issues while sharing their experiences with one another in a safe, confidential setting. In sharing and engaging in healthy conversations with one another, women can begin or continue their healing as well as provide guidance and support to others. Group will be offered in February 2024; updates to follow.
