I believe people look into getting help because they truly want to be in a better place. Everyone faces obstacles in life. Some of those obstacles are more difficult to move past than others. In order to be your best self, you must break through those obstacles. Counseling is very personal and there is no one way that counseling happens. I will work with you and your specific needs to make our sessions feel safe and productive.
My background in counseling comes mostly from working in a school setting. My hope in offering private practice hours is that I can work more in depth with clients outside of the restrictive school setting. I am open to working with individuals of any age and/or family units.
