At Laurel Counseling, I'm deeply committed to providing holistic therapeutic services to those looking to seek clarity and make meaning in their lives. I use an existential, person-centered approach in my work with clients. I believe that YOU are the expert on your life and that YOU already have the answers for growth and healing within yourself. My role is to be a guide, resource and supportive companion as I walk beside you on your life journey, and help you discover and nurture your inner truth. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, adults and families who have been affected by trauma.
Trauma comes in many shapes and forms. It tells us lies about ourselves and the world that we tend to believe and internalize. My passion lies in helping unearth these lies and replace them with truths, so that we can live healthy, joyful and meaningful lives in community with others.
I offer individual therapy sessions to older teens and adults. I also offer couples and family counseling to those looking to mend relationships and build healthier bonds.
