I am an LPC with 17 years of experience, EMDR trained to work with clients of all ages. I am also a Christian Counselor if that is what my clients are needing. I love children, adolescents and the challenges they bring to family dynamics. I tailor my style to the needs of my clients, because no two clients are alike. I enjoy working with clients who are struggling with issues that are either acute (recent) or chronic (lifelong). I find that it is particularly important to form a working relationship that will focus on a path of discovery that will begin to identify possible solutions. Often problems can be resolved quickly such as parenting issues and sometimes issues are very complex and require examining a thorough history of life experiences from childhood to the present. I am always amazed how my words stick with people for years and years and I believe that a journey of discovery takes many paths and has many time frames.

I work with all ages; children, teens and adults, couples; excessive worry, depression, mood, impulsivity, ADHD, social anxiety, other serious emotional disturbances. Always emotion focused and person centered and/or trauma-focused. We each have a voice and when life is hard, sometimes we don't always feel we can speak up.
