Hello! I am Stacy Leo a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) whose work has focused on the prevention and treatment of child and family traumatic stress. I received formal training in trauma informed care, child welfare, strengths-based therapy, treatment for behavioral and mental disorders as well as motivational interviewing. My areas of expertise include family and group dynamics; early childhood development; the impact of illness, trauma, or injury on the individual family; biological, psychological and social development; diversity and cultural competency; as well as interpersonal relationships.

Angela Wright is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (ADAC) with over 7 years of experience. Angela has been working with agencies as an Outpatient Counselor since 2015, focusing on helping individuals with co-occurring disorders by promoting growth and change by meeting individuals where they are. Angela works with adults, couples, and adolescents dealing with substance use, depression, anxiety, relationships issues, trauma, adjustment issues, and health services.

The practice is owned by Dr. Jessica Joyce, PsyD and the practice is comprised of doctoral-level psychologists and several other master's and doctoral level licensed clinicians who provide quality mental health care. As a mental health collective, we assist members by providing therapy, assessment, counseling and more. We help our clients to connect with one of our doctors who can meet their needs and is available online or in-person. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker! I have a Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina. I have been a critical care respiratory therapist for the past 25+ years and the spouse of a law enforcement officer so I have insight into medical traumas as well as first responders and their spouses. My passion lies with the spouses of first responders. Motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and attachment theory are examples of my treatment modalities.

We all, sooner or later, come up against changes, challenges, or outright catastrophes that require us to grow in order to cope. Many of us find that the coping skills we've picked up in our lives thus far are just not enough to enable us to move forward successfully. Often, responses that used to work may have become the very things that are now causing problems. Fortunately, old strategies that no longer work can be released, and new skills and perspectives can be learned that open up possibilities that were never available in the past. I often see clients are hesitant to begin therapy for fear of needing to tell their life stories. This isn’t my style; I am much more interested in what is happening here and now. The details of the experiences that have happened previously will reveal themselves as needed throughout the therapeutic process. In therapy, my clients drive the bus and I simply help navigate them through the experience.
