I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a proven background as a clinical practitioner. I completed a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University in 1979. My formal education and training coupled with many years of hands-on experiences have driven my practice skills. I have worked in many areas of social work, as well as working with different populations. Since 2009, my primary focus has been working with the diverse elderly population in managed care and long-term care settings.

Life can be extremely challenging. The good thing is you don’t have to tackle it alone! My counseling style combines a wholistic perspective with the tools and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy.
