My background includes conducting individual and group therapy sessions. I am experienced in working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, individuals who are struggling with transitioning back in the community after being incarcerated, and anger management. I take an individualized approach to therapy to assist you in discovering your personal strengths and capacities.

I have always been taught to meet a person where they are. I did not understand what that meant until I started my counseling journey. I started Starting Point Counseling and Consulting, LLC to help people struggling with everyday stressors, such as anxiety and depression. My desire with those that I counsel is to utilize my skillset and training to help them work through life's pains and frustrations.

I am a Florida native, who spent the early years of my career working in the corporate wellness industry. After recognizing the strong connection between physical health and mental health I transitioned to a career in counseling, obtaining my Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

Hi there! My name is Jackie Drummond. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina. I have over 25 years of experience as a School Counselor. In recent years, I have matriculated at Liberty University under the Clinical Counseling Program. I believe it is important to build trusting relationships with my clients, while offering a safe space to work through challenges and struggles. I am passionate about helping my clients discover, develop and engage in the use of strategies and skills to reach their goals.

No matter the issue(s) or ultimate goal(s), I believe counseling is a collaborative effort. I work with individuals ages 12 and up, regardless of background, gender, or race. I work specifically with individuals who present with behavioral issues, mental health problems, emotional problems, low self-esteem, anger issues, and/or phase of life problems. As a Master Level Intern, I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. At Lakeside Family Center, I have gained valuable experience helping families navigate life's challenges. Hi, my name is Brian. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the following states: SC, TX, NC, and FL. My clinical areas of focus are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. My clinical approach consists of the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Habit Reversal Training, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.

I serve as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. I have experience in a wide range of settings including schools, a mental health center, and psychiatric hospitals. My training as Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and a certified high school teacher enhance my skills to work with parents and their children with many issues they encounter in an educational and social environment, such as bullying, conflict resolution, anger management, low esteem, and many other issues that they may encounter throughout the school year.
