Trevor graduated from Winthrop University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and has professional working proficiency in Spanish and French. Trevor’s journey into the world of therapy has been shaped by 10 + years of diverse work experiences. From being an educator to a healthcare worker, each step has played a crucial role in honing his skills and deepening his understanding of human behavior and emotions.

A benevolent open-minded counselor with 25 years of expertise in the field of counseling visualizes the needs of the ideal client: to actively listen, to assist client to identify their needs, and to help them find means of reaching long-term goals, changing issues into solutions and finally helping them to become responsible individuals.

My road to becoming a mental health provider has been quite the journey. I served over 27 years as an active duty Soldier in the Army with multiple combat deployments. Durning my military service, I discovered that I loved helping people get through tough places in their lives. Today, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Columbia, SC. Since earning a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from South University in 2014, I have counseled for the South Carolina Youth Advocate Program Counseling, Anderson Counseling and Education, the South Carolina Department of Corrections and Better Help.
