It would be impossible to drive half of a car, but many of us navigate our lives without the full emotional resources to transport us where we want to go. It's like we are driving around with missing pieces, and while you've probably been pretty good at faking it till you make it, maybe you're feeling exhausted, sad, or anxious (or all three!) and minimizing your voice is no longer serving you. While it might feel confusing and a little scary to go into the places of your story to find a clearer voice, it is meaningful and sacred work.
