I work with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, along with anxiety, depression and life stressors, as well as providing support to their caregivers. I help clients who feel they have lost a sense of who they are, have difficulty coping with new challenges and those who may find it difficult to be able to express their feelings and thoughts. I support them by providing a safe environment, showing compassion, listening and providing tools that can help improve their behaviors, communication, self-esteem and increase their positive self- talk.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy techniques to help children achieve their goals. Every child is different and I believe in tailoring interventions to help fit the clients needs.
