I believe that therapy can be a powerful tool to help make sense of difficult emotions, gain clarity in relationships with oneself and others, and cultivate greater self-acceptance. I have significant clinical experience with LGBTQ+-identified individuals and serve clients all across the gender and sexuality spectrums, on issues both related and unrelated to these identities.
I will partner with you to identify where you are getting stuck, to disrupt unhelpful patterns, and to process complex emotions that may arise. By looking at your patterns of relating to yourself and others, we can begin to explore how they were formed and think about how to change them when they no longer serve you.
I practice from an interpersonal psychodynamic perspective, and have post-graduate training in psychoanalysis and family therapy.
