I fundamentally believe that every client has what it takes to live a beautiful, healthy, fulfilling life—so my job is to help you work through the things holding you back from embodying your true strength and power. I specialize in trauma treatment, neurodiversity, relationship skills and enrichment, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I love using creativity and humor to help you find new ways of dealing with problems, no matter how old or new. I work with teens (12+), adults, and couples/adult relationships.
I have additional training in trauma-focused models such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-based therapies where my goal is for you to feel the results of therapy as soon as you leave my office. Most importantly, I tailor my approach to fit your specific challenges, needs, and values.
I believe in working with my clients as a team. Therapy with me won't look like a New Yorker cartoon! My style is collaborative, transparent, warm, and down-to-earth—as well as pragmatic. My goal is to help you better understand the complex causes of your struggles and then help you live a more satisfying, and symptom-free life the way you want to live it.
