I specialize in trauma recovery, racial/ethnic/cultural identity development, intergenerational trauma, spiritual development, depression and anxiety. I have experience working with under-served populations and individuals experiencing complex trauma, depression, anxiety and relational difficulties. My identities: Cambodian, queer, nonbinary, child of refugees, ex-Christian. These identities inform how I navigate the complexities of trauma, marginalization, mental health stigma, perfectionism, identity and belonging with. I enjoy working with children of immigrants and QTBIPOC folks.
I approach my work through trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lenses, using mindfulness-based, somatic-based, solution-focused modalities. I aim to create a safe partnership where you are the expert in your life and your agency is honored. I empower my clients to reclaim and discover their inner voice and identify their strengths.
I acknowledge the complexities of connecting with a therapist that can hold space for your intersectional identities.
