I believe all people long to flourish. When I meet you, we will explore what flourishing means to you, what your goals are, and what is standing in your way. I look first at your strengths—what is working for you now— and why you think you are struggling in certain areas. We will then collaborate on how to reach your goals. I meet you where you are, inspired by your own values and beliefs whether spiritual or not. Because I have a lifetime of lived experiences, I am compassionate, nonjudgmental, and empathetic. I draw from these experiences, and it informs my counseling. Helping others to flourish has always been a part of who I am.
You'll find me warm and inviting which helps you feel at ease and safe. My office is comfortable, private and has refreshments to enjoy while waiting.
I have extensive experience with mood disorders, including bipolar and depression. I help clients transition through life changes such as first leaving or home needing assisted care. I help parents and kids develop a mutually respectful relationship while navigating challenges. I help couples find meaningful connections while building a strong foundation.
